Jim Twomey (JT ) has been riding and working with bicycles for about 26 years. He previously worked at Fat Dog Professional Cycle in Westwood, MA and for Copeland’s bicycle department in Henderson, NV. He was the President of MAC (Mad About Cycling) bicycle club in Falmouth, MA. Jim is a member of the Green Valley Cyclists. He is a certified graduate of Barnett’s Bicycle Mechanic School, Colorado Springs. Jim doesn’t race but likes to do century rides and week long bike vacations. Kathi Twomey, along with Jim her husband, has ridden road and off road bikes in every state of the U.S. (except Alaska and Hawaii) and much of western Canada. Kathi is an active member of Green Valley Cyclists. She gives JT’s her advice from “a woman’s perspective”. Kathi is in charge of the separate room at JT’s specifically set aside for women’s bikes, clothing, shoes etc.

Eric Neuhaus, Bicycle enthusiast since the late 80′s. Eric is the Shop Manager at JT’s Bicycle. He races both cross and road bikes. Many people consider him one of the top two mechanics in the Henderson, Las Vegas area. If you have a bike problem that you can’t seem to get solved bring it to JT’s. Eric has been a full time employee at JT’s for about 5 years. Eric is currently a member of ShuffleMaster Road Race Team.

Jay Dusseau was the Manager of the bicycle department at Copeland’s for about 7 years. He has worked on bikes since he was a kid. His hobby is restoring vintage bikes. For good solid advice about which bike is right for you, see Jay. He has been an employee at JT’s for about 5 years. He went from part-time to full time in 2011.

Josh Cole formerly worked at Bike Trail for two years. Josh races BMX expert class and Cat 5 road races. Josh has been a full time employee at JT’s for about 4 years. If you need service on your hydraulic brakes, Josh is the man to see.

Norris Hanna grew up working in his dad’s bike shop and has returned to the industry recently. He races mountain, road and cross. Norris won the mechanics category of the 2012 Las Vegas Cross Race. This is the largest cross race in the U.S. Norris has been an employee at JT’s for about a year.

Grant Paris is a full time highschool science teacher in Henderson. Grant has recently started working part-time at JT’s. He currently races road bikes but has also raced mtb bikes in the past. Grant worked for Titus MTB in Arizona before moving to Henderson.

As you can see from the above, we are cyclists at JT’s Bicycle. Yes, it is a “business” but it is also our “passion”. Come in and talk to us about bicycles or about any aspect of cycling. Whether you are just getting back into cycling or you are riding hundreds of miles per week, we’d love to meet you. You will find everyone knowledable and friendly.
